Incredible India My Country

“India is my mother, Indian people are my brothers and sisters, India is my love, my realization, my feeling, my God, my blood, my spiritual Guru, my happiness” (Abhishek Kumar Sharma)

I come from the country of Budhha (Light of Asia) Swami Vivekananda, Sri BKS Iyengar ji, Shri Shri Ravishankar ji, Swami Ramdev ji, Swami Chidanad Saraswati ji and Mahatma Gandhi… I have in-depth knowledge of  Yoga, Meditation, Indian Culture both from my University studies and thanks to my own curiosity and interest.

I believe our manners, our way of communicating with one another are one of the important components of Indian culture. Even though we have accepted modern means of living, we improved our lifestyle, our values and beliefs still remain unchanged. A person can change his way of clothing, of eating and living, but the rich values which we receive from our culture remain unchanged because they are deeply rooted within our hearts, mind, body and soul.

Indian culture is a more than 7000 years old culture, we treat guests as God and we serve them and take care of them as if they were a part and parcel of the family itself.

Elders and the respect for elders is a major component of Indian culture. Elders are the driving force for any family and hence the love and respect for elders comes from within and is not artificial. An individual takes blessings from his elders by touching their feet. Elders drill and pass on the Indian culture within us as we grow.

Even though India is a country of various religions and castes, our culture tells us just one thing: “phir bhi dil hai Hindustani”.

Seminars on ‘Importance of Bicycling’ to live Healthier and Happier Life and Save the Environment.

“The bicycle is an inexpensive, fast, healthy and environmentally friendly mode of transport. Bicycle use extended the usable physical environment for people, while alternatives such as cars and motorways degraded and confined people’s environment and mobility” (Abhishek Kumar Sharma)

“Nowadays more and more people are becoming sick and tired of motorized means of transport. They’re looking for new methods of alternative transportation for different reasons. Someone uses motorized and non-motorized two wheel vehicles, because not everyone can afford to buy and maintain a new car. Others choose bicycles, because they wholeheartedly believe that these safe vehicles are very good for their health”.

“One of the profound economic implications of bicycle use is that it liberates the user from oil consumption.”(Ballantine, 1972)

Cyclists are a diverse group. Some of us ride fat tires down rocky trails, some of us ride road bikes up burly hills, some of us ride for sport and some of us ride just for fun. Some ride for the adrenaline rush and some ride their bikes for basic transportation. But all of us can take advantage of the healthy benefits of cycling, even if we never ever buy a single item made from spandex.

Bicycling, along with being the most efficient mode of human locomotion, is also one of the best all-around activities for improving our health. From head to toes, cycling’s health benefits are hard to beat.

Health Benefits of Bicycling

  • Cycling is good for heart: Cycling is associated with improved cardiovascular fitness, as well as a decrease in the risk of coronary heart disease.
  • Cycling is good for muscles: Riding a bike is great for toning and building our muscles, especially in the lower half of the body – our calves, our thighs, and our rear end. It’s also a great low-impact mode ofexercise for those with joint conditionsor injuries to the legs or hips, which might keep them from being active.
  • Cycling is good for waistline: we can burn a lot of calories while Bicycling, especially when we cycle faster than a leisurely pace, and bicycling has been associated with helping to keepweight gain And cycling has the added benefit of ramping up your metabolism, even after the ride is over.
  • Cycling is good for lifespan: Bicycling is a great way to increase our longevity, as cycling regularly has been associated withincreased ‘life-years’, even when adjusted for risks of injury through cycling.
  • Cycling is good for coordination:Moving both feet around in circles while steering with both our hands and our body’s own weight is good practice for our coordination skills.
  • Cycling is good for mental health: Riding a bike has been linked toimproved mental health.
  • Cycling is good for immune system: Cycling canstrengthen immune system, and could protect against certain kinds of cancers.     “Cycling is becoming more popular, fashionable and prestigious all over the world. A large number of celebrities and political figures have already made cycling a part of their lives. Now it’s your turn to make a step towards safer, happier and healthier future”.

     Environmental Benefits of Bicycling

Do we remember that it’s crucially important to care about the environment? I hope we do. But it doesn’t mean that we should become the member of environmental organizations. We should just start from our self and do everything possible to reduce air pollution caused by human activities. I understand that it may be difficult, but try to kick the car habit and become a bicyclist.

This big contribution to environment protection will improve both your health and social status. I believe that sooner or later, humanity will finally realize that the environment is in a big danger and get interested in eco-friendly activities and industries.

    Bicycling is safer than driving

According to the statistics, bicycling is one of the safest forms of ground transportation.

Bicycle is a wonderful and unique thing that can give us both safety and freedom, of course, if we wear a helmet and follow the rules of the road. I’m sure that 95% of bicycle crashes happen due to carelessness of bicycle riders. No matter whether we’re a pro rider or not, we should always be careful while riding a bike, because even cycle paths are full of obstacles, pedestrians and roller skaters.

It help to save Time and Money

A decision to use a bicycle for transportation during the day will help us to do everything in time and become financially prosperous. If we are a city dweller and our town suffers from constant and massive traffic jams, then a bicycle will certainly come us in handy or even become the secret of our success. we’ll be more dynamic and have a chance to fly and feel like a bird in the sky.

We don’t need a driver’s license to ride both traditional and even electric bikes. Furthermore, we can once and for all forget about different kinds of vehicle taxes. If we feel that we don’t have passion for cars and have no opportunity to invest big bucks in an auto repair.

During Trees Plantation Campaign at Karkala, Karnataka State (India)

    A sport related event

I am also a promoter of sports, as I consider cycling one of the best ways to keep your body in good shape. I follow the steps of the first Indian globetrotter, Bimol Mukerji (1903-1987), whose book I read when it was re-published in 1998. Bimol Mukerji  from Bengal and he went on an epic world tour on a bicycle from 1926 to 1937. He travelled on a low-buget and he was driven by an instatiable thirst of knowing the unknown world. Bimol Mukerji published a book relating his adventurous journey, called “Du chakay duniya” (The World on TwoWheels).

    Science of Yoga simple teaching

The millenary science of yoga can be used when meeting with students, local people and youth. It is a help to make them overcome stress, anxiety and tiredness. I make yoga demonstrations and documentary presentations in universities and colleges.

I practiced yoga for more than five years and I gave yoga presentations in schools in India,

Free Hugs and Intercultural Exchange Programs

Wherever it is possible, I will organize Free hugs events. I have already organized Free hugs events in india.

I am also organizing food exchange programs, in which I cook for the persons who invite me in their places and who want to taste the delicious Indian food.

Future Plans:

This is not only my journey! When I started this all over the world journey I decided that others will follow me that we all will travel together in order to achieve a new way of thinking, new beliefs to make a new world.

I believe People are My God. This travel is dedicated to the People, to reach to people. During this travel I will meet Ten million people. After this travel I would like to connect the world through people. Now I am trying to reach to people and after the people I met during my travel will reach to us. That is why, when my journey will be over, my plans are to create a community in my region – Uttar Pradesh (India). In this community, as I dream and wish it, we shall have:

People House – With the help of my global family and my family in India I will build a house, which I call People House. It will situate in Uttar Pradesh, it will open for all the people around the world who hosted me in their houses, fed me and gave me support to continue my journey. Also for those who are interested in my mission and want to contribute in any way. This house will be inaugurated in 2020, on the occasion of  Holy.

Global Village and Eco Village: on 100 ac land and with 50 houses. The global village/ Eco Village will be located far from the city, close to nature. We will create our own village with traditional natural ways, which will take us simple living but high thinking.

Facilities in our Global Village/ Eco Village:

1.  No caste and Religion System. I believe in every soul. We all are human beings

2.Organic Farming

3.Proper Drainage Facilities

4.Rain water Harvesting

5.Solar Power Facilities

6.Solid waste management plant

7.Waste water treatment plant

8.  Qualitative drinking water facilities

9.  Community biogas plant

10. Community Health care center(Hospital)

11. Community kitchen

12.  Natural cycling track

13.Global garden with Approx 500+ trees

14.Community Swimming pool

Global Garden In the middle of the village will be a sacred land called “Global Garden”. From every country I will  send one grieve of soil for that land, so in our Global Garden there will be soil from 80  countries. That is my personal sentiment called “United World” for love, peace and happiness.

Orphanage Children are the best teacher in the world. So many orphan children need our care, our love, our open heart. So we are thinking to have an orphanage in our village.

Old age home/retirement house Knowledge is important in life and old people are great teachers. We have lot of things to learn from them before they leave this Earth. They need our care and we can take their knowledge in our life which can be useful in our life and make our world better.

School, Cultural exchange, Environmental studies, Yoga & Meditation :

Civilizations cannot build without people. Without people one nation cannot be civilized. School is the simple system that gathers the knowledge about human life and gives us the best knowledge so that people and society can benefit. We think of a school where we can learn from each other, where we can learn in formal and non-formal manner, thus enhancing creativity and contributing for a better society. We are people and we want to live for and with people.

Self-Help Groups (SPGs) :

Self help group of embroidering, craft and design, stitching. Women are saviors, they do a lot for our society with their creative work. With just a little support they can create their own world, stand beside men and support their entire family. Self-help group is one initiative for women, who will thus get some support and will do creative work for the society.

There will be no caste system, no difference rich or poor, no religion boundaries, the most important are People.
